NATO sends proposals to Russia amid Ukraine crisis

NATO has sent Moscow written proposals in a bid to diffuse the crisis along its borders with Ukraine. Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called an impromptu press conference in Brussels on Wednesday to outline NATO's position.

The 30 nation defensive alliance once again raised concerns over a buildup of Russian troops near Ukraine. Moscow denies it has any intention of invading. Further talks between Russia and several NATO countries are expected in the coming weeks.
