CDC panel recommends Pfizer boosters for 12 to 15-year-olds

Kids as young as 12 years old could soon be rolling up their sleeves for a Pfizer booster shot after an advisory panel to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday recommended the third jab for adolescents.

The final decision is now left to the CDC director, who is expected to give the final sign-off later on Wednesday, paving the way for shots to start rolling out as soon as this week.

Toni Waterman has more from Austin, Texas.
