Several governments in Europe are reimposing Covid-19 restrictions as Omicron continues to spread across the continent.
Spain has recorded its highest number of daily infections since the start of the pandemic. France fears cases there could soon pass 100,000 per day.
The World Health Organization warns that within weeks, the new variant "will dominate in more countries of the region, pushing already stretched health systems further to the brink."
