INTRO:
Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo say 22 people have been killed by rebels in an internally displaced people's camp in the northeastern province of Ituri.
The killings happened on Sunday in the gold-rich region that has seen an increase in attacks against civilians since May this year. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.
