​It’s official: Tesla moving headquarters to Texas

After months of hinting, Telsa has now made it official: it is moving its company headquarters from Silicon Valley, California to Austin, Texas.

CEO Elon Musk announced the news at a shareholders meeting, making the electric car giant the latest tech company to up sticks and reroot in the Lone Star state.
