Facebook has announced it is changing its corporate name to 'Meta' to reflect what it says will be a growing focus on a range of products for the virtual 'metaverse'.
The name change also comes on the heels of the leaks of internal documents by whistleblower Francis Haugen that have portrayed the company in a negative light.
