UK under 16s could get Pfizer jabs to prevent school outbreaks

Every child in the UK aged 12 or over could be offered a Covid-19 vaccine in the next few weeks, after the country's chief medical officers recommended extending the rollout to under-16s.

If ministers decide to implement the advice as policy, 12-15 year olds will have the chance to get a single dose of the Pfizer jab.
