Turkey's President Erdogan to talk missiles, Syria, Azerbaijan with Russia's President Putin

Turkey's President Recyip Erdogan is meeting Russia's President Vladimir Putin in Sochi — the first time an in-person meeting has taken place between the two leaders since the beginning of the pandemic.

The presidents are expected to discuss Turkey's purchase of a Russian-made anti-aircraft missile system.

But in doing so President Erdogan risks the wrath of the US, which could trigger new sanctions against Turkey.
