Resident Doctors in Nigeria have embarked on a nationwide indefinite strike.


They are pressing for improved allowances among other concerns.


The strike is coming at a time when the third wave of COVID-19 is taking a toll on citizens with an outbreak of the Delta variant of the disease leading to deaths.
