China to ramp up supervision of overseas-listed firms following Didi’s IPO drama

Beijing is ramping up its oversight of Chinese overseas-listed firms, following a data security investigation into the ride-hailing giant Didi. 


The move forms part of a sweeping clampdown on some of the country's biggest companies.
