U.S. deaths from Covid-19 have plunged by 90 per cent since January according to initial data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Fresh data shows that the U.S. was the worst hit by the pandemic, of the major western democracies- while the country struggles to hit a 70 percent national vaccination target set by the Biden administration.
