NATO brands China as a 'systemic' threat in first alliance summit in two years

NATO has branded China a 'security risk', following the first face-to-face summit of the alliance in two years. 

US President Joe Biden used the meeting to urge his fellow NATO leaders to take a more forceful stance against Beijing. 

There was also discussion over how the alliance should respond to aggressive tactics from Russia, and how to modernise in the face of transnational threats like cybersecurity and climate change.
