Mixed close for the markets as investors brace for Fed meeting

It was a mixed close for the U.S. markets Monday as investors await
the conclusion of the Federal Reserve's two day policy meeting on
Wednesday.

With inflation on the rise, traders are eager to hear whether the Fed
plans to take action.
