Benjamin Netanyahu's opponents say they have successfully forged a coalition to oust him from power.
The news came just ahead of a midnight deadline in Israel.
Naftali Bennett will now serve as the country's Prime Minister in a power-sharing arrangement with Yair Lapid.

But the deal is not entirely done yet.
The coalition must secure support in a vote in the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, at some point over the next 12 days.
And that gives Benjamin Netanyahu time to try and prize the coalition apart.
