Auditors question if German hospitals represented ICU data to get more money

German auditors have raised concerns that taxpayer funds may have been misspent during the coronavirus pandemic. 

In particular, there's concerns hospitals may have been incentivized to misrepresent patient data in order to access emergency funds.
