A Dutch court has ordered Anglo-Dutch energy giant Shell to reduce its CO2 emissions by 45%, by 2030, compared to 2019 levels.
In a first-of-its-kind ruling, the court found Shell was in danger of violating its obligations to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.
