Japan-US pledge to strengthen security at G7 foreign ministers meeting

Japan has reaffirmed its cooperation with the US on security in the Asia-Pacific region at a meeting for G7 foreign ministers which kicked off in London on Monday. It has also announced an agreement on security and trade with the UK, amid concerns over the rising influence of China.
