Japan begins delivering COVID-19 vaccines for elderly

The Japanese government has started distributing coronavirus vaccines to prefectures in preparation for its inoculation programme for the elderly. 


From April 12, the country is set to begin vaccinations for around 36 million people aged 65 or over using the Pfizer vaccine.
