All six Premier League teams involved in the proposed European Super League have withdrawn from the competition.
Manchester City were the first club to officially pull out. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham all then followed suit.
Eyes now turn to the other European clubs from Spain and Italy, to see if they try to salvage the project, or consign it to failure.
