US governor's aides altered report to downplay elderly death toll

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's aides rewrote a report to cover up
the high number of Covid-19 related deaths among elderly residents in
care homes.

According to documents, advisers reduced the death toll figure by more
than 3,000.
