US-China talks are set to continue after more than an hour of tense exchanges between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Yang Jiechi, his Chinese counterpart, in Anchorage, Alaska.
It’s hoped that a second day of talks will yield some areas of common ground, but optimism is fading for significant progress between the two superpowers.
