The UK search for a missing person infected with the P.1. coronavirus variant first detected in Brazil has narrowed to 379 households in the South East of England.
The unidentified person tested positive for the virus but did not leave proper contact details on the Covid-19 home-test kit. The nationwide hunt comes amid concerns the variant could undermine herd immunity.
