Hong Kong orders foreign consulates to reject BNO passport

The Hong Kong government is ordering foreign consulates in the city to stop accepting the British National Overseas passport as a valid travel document.

The move is being seen as retaliation against the UK introducing a new visa scheme that offers a pathway to citizenship for Hongkongers who want to leave the city.
