The European Medicines Agency is recommending countries in the European Union resume vaccination with the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, after conducting an in-depth review of its safety.
A majority of EU member states had postponed vaccination while a potential link between receiving the vaccine and developing blood clots was investigated.
But the EMA has concluded no such link exists.
