South Africa’s ruling party is giving leaders who are facing criminal charges 30 days to step down from their positions. Failure to do so will result in suspension from the party. The African National Congress insists that they have clear guidelines on how to deal with criminally implicated members, but enforcement of these guidelines is being met with resistance.
