The United Nations has condemned the death of 18 protesters in the
deadliest day of demonstrations against the military coup in Myanmar.
Footage on social media shows injured people lying on the street while
others ran from the police as shots were fired.
James Rodehaver [PRON: ROADER-HAYVER] is chief of the Myanmar team for
the UN's Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
