Hong Kong denies lowering its standards for Sinovac approval

The Hong Kong government is dismissing accusations of lowering its standards in order to approve China's Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine. 

Critics say the government is irresponsible for exempting Sinovac from needing to publish its latest trial data. 

But health officials say that won't affect the safety of their approval process.
