Papua New Guineas longest serving Prime Minister Sr Michael Somare has died in Port Moresby at the age of 84.
Known at the Father Of The Nation, Mr Somare led the country from being a colony of Australia to independence in 1975, and went on to serve as Prime Minister for four terms and 17 years.
