U.S. President Joe Biden is set to sign an executive order calling for a review of America’s global supply chains across a raft of industries- in a bid to make the country less reliant on foreign imports.
The 100-day review is reportedly aimed at curbing China’s economic rise, but it’s far from clear what measures Washington is planning to take to boost domestic production and protect its own economy.
