The Democratic Republic of Congo's parliament is set to convene on Thursday to hear petitions about the removal of the speaker from office - as a major political crisis deepens.
Lawmakers allied to DRC President Felix Tshisekedi passed a motion to remove Speaker Jeanine Mabunda on Tuesday sparking clashes that left three people injured. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa.
