US launches bribery-for-pardons investigation

The United States justice department has started an investigation into
claims lobbyists were trying to bribe officials to secure a
presidential pardon.

Separately, President Trump has talked about possible pardons for his
three eldest children and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
