Trump raises pressure for $2000 covid-relief payments as Senate stalls

US President Donald Trump is continuing to put pressure on his republican colleagues in the Senate to increase the covid-relief payments being sent to Americans to $2000.


He tweeted on Wednesday that the larger checks should be approved but Senate majority Leader Mitch McConnell is yet to schedule a vote on it.
