Lead and nickel traces found in blood samples after hundreds affected by mystery illness in south India

Indian authorities say that traces of lead and nickel were found in blood samples after hundreds of people were hospitalised and one man died after being affected with an identified illness.

The "mystery" illness in a town in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh resulted in patients suffering from headaches and vomiting, while some people fainted or even had fits.
