Germany breaks another coronavirus record as fresh lockdown looms

Germany has reported a record number of daily coronavirus cases and deaths. Expectations are now growing the country is heading back towards a hard lockdown, with Chancellor Angela Merkel preparing to meet with regional leaders to discuss the health crisis.
