There is a glimmer of hope in the fight against HIV/AIDS in low- and middle-income countries after the development of a new HIV treatment for children. The new formulation is a strawberry-flavoured dispersible tablet, which is expected to substantially reduce the annual cost of treatment. Leon Solomon reports.
