[Wrap] US officials warn of post-Thanksgiving Covid-19 spike

As the US finishes up the Thanksgiving weekend top health officials
are warning Covid-19 cases are about to accelerate at rates not
previously seen.

Infections have been rising rapidly in recent weeks, with the US
recording 4 million new cases in November alone.
