French president unveils country's path out of its Covid-19 lockdown

The French president says the peak of the second wave of Covid-19 infections has passed, as the numbers of new cases and number of patients being treated in hospital continues to fall.


Emmanuel Macron said that non-essential shops will be able to re-open from November 28 and the national coronavirus lockdown will end on December 15.
