Wall Street loses ground amid setbacks for Covid-19 treatments

U.S. stocks lost momentum Tuesday on news that the race to find an
effective Covid-19 vaccine and therapeutic has hit some fresh
setbacks.

Investor sentiment was also dampened by the International Monetary
Fund's prediction that global growth next year will be weaker than
initially thought.
