US tries to hammer out stimulus deal

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin
are holding last-minute talks to try and reach a stimulus deal to
provide trillions of dollars to help the American economy.

The Democrats and Republicans have been deadlocked for weeks over
competing proposals.
