Uganda Stops Repeat Tests For COVID-19 Patients

SUGGESTED LEAD

As Uganda struggles with surging COVID-19 cases, the health Ministry says it's stopped repeat tests for recovering patients.

Repeat tests are normally done to check whether the virus has completely been eliminated from the body.

The country has run out of hospital beds for COVID-19 patients and is trying to free space for the increasing cases.
