Hope for ceasefire emerges as fighting on Azeri-Armenian border continues

Fighting on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, former soviet republics has intensified, with more casualties reported on Friday. Yerevan indicated it's ready to discuss a ceasefire with international mediators, while refusing to negotiate with Baku and its ally Turkey, whom it accused of waging a large-scale aggression against the Armenian people.
