France reimposes nationwide lockdown

France is going to re-impose a national lockdown to try to battle the
second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement was made by the president who gave a primetime
address to the nation, saying the measure was necessary due to the
growing numbers of infections, deaths, and hospitalizations.
