Hong Kong's flagship airline Cathay Pacific is facing mounting pressure from its pilots and flight attendants. They are threatening potential legal action against the airline if the terms of new contracts are not improved. Cathay is cutting salaries and sacking more than 5,000 local staff as part of a mass restructuring due the business impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
