UK WARNINGS OVER COVID SPIKE

UK officials say people have relaxed too much over covid-19 restrictions, as cases of the virus spike.

Britain's seen nearly 3000 confirmed cases for two days in a row.

Government advisors warn that while hospitalisations and deaths remain at low levels - they are likely to grow if coronavirus begins spreading in older people.

Professor Stephen Reicher is a behavioural scientist on the UK's SAGE government advisory group.
