The UK government is denying reports it is being advised by its scientists to impose a two week national lockdown to stop coronavirus spreading.
A former WHO doctor claims England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty is calling for a new nationwide lockdown because of rising cases.
But health minister Edward Argar says that's not the case - and local measures will be imposed where necessary instead.
