Republicans lay out timeline for SCOTUS nominee to be confirmed before election

Republicans are planning to install a new Supreme Court justice by the end of October.


Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said his committee will approve Amy Coney Barrett's nomination on October 22nd, meaning a full Senate vote can take place before the presidential election.
