India's GDP shrinks by 23.9 per cent in April to June quarter

India's GDP contracted by 23.9 per cent in the quarter between April and June, official figures have revealed.

It is the worst quarterly decline on record for the economy, as it was hit hard by a strict nationwide lockdown.
