Hong Kong's online media condemn government registration system

An alliance of online media outlets in Hong Kong is accusing the police of trying to divide the city's journalists, by requiring them to register their operations with the government. Police introduced the rule last week, saying it's necessary to help them distinguish between genuine reporters, and troublemakers who intend to disrupt police operations.
