Intro
Ethiopia has introduced new currency notes.
The look of three old notes has been changed, while a new one of 200 Ethiopia n Birr, equivalent to around 5 dollars has been introduced.
The government hopes the new currency into the economy will curb financing of illegal activities as well as reduce corruption that has been on the rise in the past two years .
