ECOWAS halts single currency launch, adopts gradual approach

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has postponed its planned launch of its single currency, the 'ECO.'

The decision was made during the recently concluded 57th Summit of the ECOWAS Heads of State and Government.
